Waratah Day

A day (usually in early October) to pick waratahs and celebrate this amazing flower.

Nup the Cup

A cruelty-free alternative to the Melbourne Cup, with a Quaker meeting for worship to remember animals in our society, animal rights films and a vegan food extravaganza!

Christian Anarchist Weekend

A gathering that explores the overlapping ideas, experiments and practices of Christianity and Anarchism.

The Work That Reconnects’ contemplative walk

In this 1.5 – 2 hour walk, we move across the land and stop at four contemplative stations, based on the four practices spiral of The Work That Reconnects. The Work That Reconnects is a network developed by Joanna Macy to help people who are exhausted from trying to change our world’s destructive ways, to experience our interconnection with all things, thereby transforming our despair into collaborative action.  We spend time in silence, in listening and singing and in making symbolic responses with prayer flags, rocks, trees and flame.
