We invite guests to seek spiritual retreat and renewal on the land by booking one of our retreat spaces.
David’s Cabin is a simple, cosy 2 room space for guests to conduct their own self-directed retreat for up to 3 nights/4 days.
From the cabin you can roam the land, go on a meditative walk (leaflets provided), explore the healing gardens, meditate or pray, watch the animals, birds, stars and the changing weather. We encourage guests to take the opportunity to switch off from phones and technology and enter a slower, quieter space. Guests are welcome to join the residents for daily prayer at 10am and 6pm, 5 days a week.
Treetop room at Blue Tongue House
Blue Tongue House is a shared household that is part of the Gembrook Retreat community. It is located 500m from the town centre. Treetop Room is a bedroom available for guests who want to visit Gembrook and the surrounding areas and would prefer accommodation with more standard facilities.
The new Meeting House
Tom’s old hut is being rebuilt into a Meeting House catering for groups of 12-20 people. It contains a meeting room, kitchen and dining hall and toilets with disability access. We have used some of the structure and materials of Tom’s old hut, and second hand materials in keeping with the wood feel, combined with two wood fire stoves and cosy insulation for the Gembrook winters!
We hope to be ready for guests in September 2021.
