Active Hope workshops

The Work That Reconnects is a spiral of practices that supports us in meeting the multiple crises of our times.

Based in the teachings of Joanna Macy, the Work unfolds as a spiral journey through four stages: Coming from Gratitude, Honouring our Pain for the world, Seeing with New/Ancient Eyes, and Going Forth. The journey helps us experience first hand that we are larger, stronger, more creative - and more deeply interconnected - than we knew.

Our Active Hope workshops, based on the Work That Reconnects, provide useful resources that strengthen our motivation, creativity, courage and capacity to respond to challenging issues in our world, and allows participants to explore and grow connection - to the land, ourselves, and each other. This is Active Hope.

Join with others from the growing Active Hope community to revisit the spiral of practices from the Work That Reconnects to help us keep connected to each other, the land and ourselves. Those who wish to can stay on to share Going Forth projects and ideas, and get support and encouragement.

Facilitators

The Work that Reconnects helps people discover and experience their innate connections with each other and the self-healing powers of the web of life, transforming despair and overwhelm into inspired, collaborative action.
